The main center of the Wari development in Cusco was Pikillaqta from the year 530 AD, place where the year 2004 was evidenced by archaeological research a "foundational offering" in whose archaeological context shows a scene of confrontation where the protagonists wear a helmet in different ways They carry spears, shields, and a trophy head.

The defeated are on their knees with their hands tied and others extended, being evidence of a violent confrontation, where the metal stick sunk as a symbol of possession and territorial control constitutes the main element (context replicated for exhibition purposes in the museum).

The collection is made up of pottery, metal and lithic objects from the Wari development in Cusco.
